Description
Typed letter signed. Autograph letter. Tells Dorr that Edward [Claire Howard’s son] and Alice and their four children are moving to Australia for a year or two to establish an Edward Howard company in Sidney. Invites Dorr to come to New York when she will be there visiting the family. Howard refers to Dorr and her husband John as “my beloved cousins.” There are two notes in pencil on the reverse: one to pay someone [name unclear] for groceries and the other note is book information on The Off Islanders.
