In connection with The World Outside: Louise Nevelson at Midcentury, join us to experiment and create a work of art inspired by the iconic artist’s monochrome palette. We’ll start the workshop with a tour of the exhibition by Carter curator Shirley Reece-Hughes before we dive into art making. Led by printmaker and UNT art professor Lari Gibbons, we’ll make our own experimental prints using similar materials and processes as Nevelson during her time at the Tamarind Institute studying printmaking. No previous experience necessary and all materials provided.
