Fort Worth, TX, March 21, 2016—The Amon Carter Museum of American Art invites families with young children to participate in this summer’s free Storytime series, held every Wednesday, June 8 through July 27, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Storytime presents children’s books and connects them with artworks; the theme for 2016 is Artful Alphabet.

“Playing with the alphabet and using letters to discover art will be fun for families,” says Jessica Kennedy, public programs manager. “Bring your little ones on Wednesdays for stories and creative art projects from A to Z.” During each Storytime, participating children will be registered to win that week’s featured books. A drawing will be held at the end of every program; those chosen need not be present to win.

Storytime is best for families with children ages 3 to 8 and their adult companions. Parents are encouraged to call 817.989.5030 or email visitors@cartermuseum.org for helpful information and parking tips. Tag your photos with #ACMstorytime.

Storytime is sponsored in part by Galderma Laboratories, LP and Williams Trew Real Estate. Snack provided by GoGo squeeZ.
