Event Description

Let's enjoy nature in art! Explore depictions of the natural world through sensory tools, make a pinwheel to bring home, check out a sensory tote, and enjoy an interactive presentation by the Botanical Research Institute of Texas.

Sensory Explorations is a free event for families with children of all ages who are on the autism spectrum. While the needs of individuals with autism are the focus of this event, it is also intended to be fun for parents, siblings (of all ages), and other relatives!

The Museum’s Main Entrance will be closed, please enter the Museum at our entrance located on Lancaster Avenue.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request.
