Collect Some Perspective on Collecting Art

In the third and final program in our series on collecting, investment guru Rex Sinquefield shares stories on how he and wife, Jeanne, shifted their art collecting from European Post-Impressionism to American Scene painting. His collection is on view at the Amon Carter through October 19. Whether you are an experienced expert or a “been-thinking-about-it” beginner, this program shares real-world intelligence on the do’s, don’ts, and dares of being an art collector. The program is presented in the museum’s auditorium, followed by a short wine and cheese reception in the Atrium.

For members, individual programs are $10 per person each, or sign up for all three for $25. Nonmembers: $20 each, or all three for $50.
