The Amon Carter offers an ongoing array of programs for its visitors, from lectures by visiting artists and scholars to extended education opportunities, family events, children’s programs, and a book club. Outdoor Film Series

Lawn opens at 6 p.m. Tours from 6:30–7:45p.m. Film starts at 8 p.m.

Pack a picnic, grab some friends, and watch Jim Henson’s family classic The Great Muppet Caper (1981; G) on the museum’s lawn. Come early and enjoy a tour of the museum before the film. No reservations are required.

Lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers are welcome (lawn only). No glass bottles, please.
