The Dream and the Reality of the West
Special program with the Fort Worth Opera
Members at the Dual/Family ($100) Level and above are cordially invited to a festive evening of great opera and fine art. Stars from the Fort Worth Opera Festival will perform songs from Carlisle Floyd’s Of Mice and Men as the opera’s Music Director Joe Illick accompanies on the piano. Afterward, museum curators Jane Myers and Jessica May will present and discuss images from the Carter’s collection that shaped a generation. Enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres at the reception, which runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Two performances will be offered, at 6:30 and 7:15 p.m.
