Maxfield Parrish: A Treasury of Art and Children

A rich collection of Illustrations, along with corresponding text, have been gathered from various sources by Alma Gilbert, a recognized authority on the work of Maxfield Parrish. Pictures range from the Mother Goose image in Humpty Dumpty and Marry, Mary, Quite Contrary to the famous Dinkey-Bird of Robert Browning's poem, the Pied Piper of Hamelin, and lavishly illustrated scenes from Greek myths and the Arabian Nights.
