Offsite Book Club: Killers of the Flower Moon

This summer the Amon Carter will be closed for renovations, but our quarterly book club will meet at Brewed (801 W. Magnolia Ave). Start your summer reading with a haunting true-life murder mystery about one of the most monstrous crimes in American history. This summer’s book club will focus on the New York Times bestseller and National Book Award finalist Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann, which tells the gruesome story of the Osage Indian Reservation murders and the birth of the FBI. We will discuss the sinister secrets surrounding one of the darkest stories in American history and discuss images of the Osage Nation from the 19th and 20th century in the Amon Carter’s collection.

Brewed has an awesome menu of delicious food and fantastic drinks and desserts available for purchase. Please come hungry and thirsty to support your friendly neighborhood hangout! Registration for this program opens May 15.
