Artistic exploration can begin with the tiniest of hands. Bring your young toddler (ages 12–24 months) to the Amon Carter for an art-filled experience! Little hands will start to make art as Lindsay Koss, early childhood teacher, leads an art-making session inspired by the museum’s collection.
This introduction to artistic mediums allows toddlers to discover action, colors, textures, and to express themselves. Crayons, foam sheets, markers, paper, stamps, texture boards, and watercolors are a few toddler-friendly supplies that stimulate creativity while developing fine motor skills and encouraging cognitive development. Making art combines a sensory and emotional experience that fosters a passion for creative thinking and imagination!
Attendees may get messy;please dress accordingly!
