Looking for an innovative student-led project to invigorate your classroom? Learn to edit and create Wikipedia articles and bring these new skills back to your school. Whether you’re teaching researching skills, grammar editing, or technology applications, the possibilities are endless. Local Wikipedian Dave Greenlee will train participants, and then educators will have the opportunity to brainstorm project-based learning lessons that incorporate Wikipedia editing.
Participants will receive three CPE hours in: English/Language Arts: Middle or High School, Social Studies: Middle or High School, Fine Arts—Art: Middle or High School, or Career & Technical Education: Middle or High School.
Bring a laptop and power cord. Snacks provided.
