Discover Boston

As one of the nation’s oldest cities, Boston has a rich cultural scene and is home to exceptional museums and outstanding private collections. The Museum of Fine Arts, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and the Harvard Art Museums have all recently undergone state-of-the-art renovations. The city is also a hub of American history with venerable landmarks and lively street life. Let Executive Director Andrew J. Walker be your guide for all the best that Boston has to offer with behind-the-scenes museum tours and visits to private collections and galleries.

This trip is for Amon Carter Circle members only; space is limited.

Storytime: Big and Small

Stories and artmaking for families with children 8 and under

Storytime is upside down and inside out at the Amon Carter as we explore opposites this summer! This week, visitors will focus on all things big and small when they bring their family to hear stories, look at artworks, and create their own works of art! Snacks will be provided.

During each Storytime, adults can register their participating children to win that week’s featured books. A drawing will be held after each program; those chosen will be contacted via phone or email.

Storytime is held every Wednesday, June 6 through July 25 (except on July 4), from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

This program is best for families with children ages eight and under and their adult companions. If you work for a summer school or day care, we offer a customized experience for your students on a different day. Please call 817.989.5036 or email for more information.

The museum is unable to validate paid parking at the Will Rogers Memorial Center. Parking information.
