Dive deep into discussion and analysis of Grant Wood’s painting Parson Weems’ Fable (1939). Students will be introduced to the artist and supporting information to spark interest and connections to United States history. Working from their own observations, students will explore and contemplate the historical and artistic relevance of this significant work of art.
