When she died, photographer Laura Gilpin (1891–1979) bequeathed her photographic estate to the Amon Carter Museum. The Southwest was one of her favorite subjects. This box of fifteen cards features three each of five images: White Sands #3, Storm from La Bajada Hill, Steps of the Castillo, Sunrise, and Sunburst from the museum’s collection.
