This selection of images includes two each of six images from the Amon Carter Museum’s collection of watercolors by renowned western artist Charles M. Russell. Although Russell also produced exceptional oil paintings and sculptures, many feel that his watercolors are his best work. This set covers some of the artist’s favorite subjects, from Wild West action, to Indian life, to humor, including The Posse, Bronco Busting, Intercepted Wagon Train, Smoke Signal, A Piegan Flirtation, and Caught Napping.
