Product Information

To accompany a retrospective exhibition of Frank Gohlke’s work organized by the Carter, the museum has published a fine catalogue that tracks the past four decades of Gohlke’s art. Gohlke himself authored the principal essay, marked by his poetic contemplations; also with essays by Rebecca Solnit and the Carter’s John Rohrbach.

Beyond the standard trade edition of this book, the Carter is also offering a rare, limited edition of the catalogue. Only fifty copies were produced. Each copy, presented in an elegant clamshell case, is signed and numbered by the artist and is accompanied by a signed and numbered gelatin silver print produced under the artist’s supervision. The work entitled Hillsboro, Texas is available while supplies last. Call or e-mail the Museum Store for more information.
