Meet Society 1949
A group of lively members ages 21 to 45 who support the Amon Carter Museum of American Art with social events tailored for up-and-coming art patrons. Society 1949 takes its name from the year Fort Worth celebrated its 100th birthday and the date that Amon Carter announced his intention to establish the museum. Members gather several times a year to explore the collection, experience new exhibitions, and host the annual Midsummer Mingle Party celebrating the longest day of the year and the Rodeo Pre-Party.
