Frederic Remington Set

In 1935, Amon G. Carter (1879–1955) acquired his first major painting by Frederic Remington (1861–1909). That painting, His First Lesson, is included in this box of fifteen notecards of paintings from the Amon Carter Museum’s collection. Other images are The Old Stage Coach of the Plains, The Fall of the Cowboy, The Cowboy, and the iconic A Dash for the Timber. The set contains three each of the five works.
