Carl Wimar:Chronicler of the Missouri River Frontier

This book was published on the occasion of the exhibition that was on view at the Amon Carter Museum May 4–August 4, 1991. It is a scholarly examination of Wimar’s work and records his achievements in the decade prior to the Civil War. The catalogue reproduces many of the artist’s works for the first time. A limited number of copies are available of this out-of-print publication.
