Visit the Amon Carter’s online teaching resources for images, information on artworks and artists, discussion questions, and classroom activities for all grade levels tied to state and national standards.

Follows well-known Museum educator Philip Yenawine as he guides elementary-school and high-school students on a tour of the Art Institute of Chicago to demonstrate his teaching strategy. He developed a teaching method built around observation of the art object and asking the viewer questions about it, rather than simply giving information.
