Philip Johnson: A Self-Portrait (VHS)

Spotlights American architect Philip Johnson (b.1906), who discusses his work and life with art critic Rosamond Bernier. He reflects on projects: the AT&T Building in New York, the Transco Building in Houston, and proposals for the renovation of Times Square in New York. When the Amon Carter Museum opened in 1961 it was referred to as "Mr. Johnson's jewel box."
