His Subjects
Porter explored the natural world around him and became known for
making pleasing photographs of nature. To accomplish his goals,
he became expert at finding interesting details, such as these luna
moths that blend in with their surroundings (look closely and you
will see two moths in this image). He loved the outdoors and would
spend hours exploring.
