A Conversation with Texas Women Sculptors

Conversation with artists and museum curator

Join Amon Carter curator Shirley Reece-Hughes as she speaks with five Texas-based woman artists about the ways that they have taken sculpture in new directions in the twenty-first century. Discover how the unique geography of Texas allowed them to find their expression and individualism and center their artistic visions.

This program will be followed by a brief meet and greet with the artists. The autographed book produced in conjunction with the exhibition will be for sale in the Museum Store.

This program is made possible by a gift from the late Anne Burnett Tandy.
