Coming to America: Twentieth-Century and Contemporary Immigration

Educator workshop
$12 for museum members and $15 for nonmembers

Use paintings, photographs, and works on paper to explore the variety of factors that have caused individuals and families to immigrate to the United States during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries and discover how these immigrants significantly contribute to the American identity. This program is most appropriate for art and social studies educators of all grade levels, although others may benefit. Refreshments provided from 4:30 to 5 p.m.
