Who Was Mark Twain? by April Jones Prince
Ready Readers will become acquainted with one of America’s greatest storytellers by reading the fun and exciting illustrated biography Who Was Mark Twain? by April Jones Prince prior to their museum visit. At the Amon Carter, gallery teachers connect the book’s main themes to artworks from the exhibition Navigating the West: George Caleb Bingham and the River and the museum’s collection. Students create their own river-inspired artworks to take home.
