Clues, games, puzzles, riddles…and art!

The Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein

Does your Ready Reader homeschool student like clues, games, puzzles, and riddles? Then this is the book club for him or her! Prior to their museum visit, students should read Chris Grabenstein’s The Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library, a fast-paced, riddle-filled story with all kinds of humorous and creative clues to help students unravel the ultimate puzzle. At the Amon Carter, gallery teachers provide students with clues and information to solve puzzles, rebuses, and riddles that connect the book’s main themes and the museum’s collection. Art-making and rebus-writing opportunities are included throughout the program.
