Will you play the game?
The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin
Prior to their museum visit, students should read Ellen Raskin’s The Westing Game. Exciting plot twists and zany characters keep students enthralled in this story about an eccentric millionaire’s mysterious death and the race to see who will inherit his fortune. At the Amon Carter, students use clues and careful observation to complete art and writing activities about each artwork that help solve a museum mystery related to The Westing Game. Gallery teachers provide helpful hints and guide students along the way.
