Think you know Stuart Davis? Not so fast! In this interactive workshop, teachers will take an in-depth look at the life and work of Stuart Davis. Participants will explore the Amon Carter’s extensive holdings of Davis’s paintings from throughout his artistic career and learn about the cultural and political climates that helped give rise to his extraordinary body of work. This program free.
Participants will receive two CPE hours in Fine Arts—Art: All Levels; Social Studies—All Areas: All Levels; and Instructional Techniques: All Levels.
Art, gifted and talented, language arts, music, science, social studies, and U.S. history teachers from classroom and homeschool settings, as well as preservice teachers, are encouraged to attend, although others may benefit and are welcome to register.
Space is limited; preregistration is required. Cancellations must be received forty-eight hours in advance of the program or a $25 fee will be charged.
