Step back in time into the houses, gardens, and grounds of three historic properties in Waco, the city on the Brazos River that calls itself the heart of Texas. Built by affluent merchants and pioneer planters, these homes present distinct styles that give a broad view of mid- to late nineteenth-century art and design. We will examine paintings, architecture, furniture, textiles, and costumes on privately led tours of each property. Lunch will be catered by Olive Branch Bakery & Café at the McCulloch House.
Fee: $150 per person includes transportation, lunch, all fees and gratuities.
Space is limited. Full payment is due at the time of reservation. For further details or reservations, contact Mary Lynn Sloane at 817.989.5063 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
