Community Program

In conjunction with the exhibition ¡Hombre! Prints by José Guadalupe Posada, the Amon Carter is excited to sponsor the art-making booth at Artes de la Rosa’s annual Dia de los Muertos celebration!

This free family festival features a drum and puppet procession from Marine Park to the Rose Marine Theater Plaza, as well as music, dancing, face painting, and pan de muerto (procession begins at 7 p.m.). Bring your friends and family to share in this rich Mexican tradition.

Please note: This event will take place at the Rose Marine Theater Plaza, not at the Amon Carter. For more information, please call 817-624-8333, email yvonne.duque@artesdelarosa.org, or go online.
