Tyler Museum of Art
Travel with us to Tyler, Texas, to visit the Tyler Museum of Art and tour the exhibition Texas Impressionism: Branding with Brushstroke and Color. With a rich tradition, especially in landscape painting, Texas impressionists such as Julian Onderdonk, Emma Richardson Cherry, Frank Reaugh, and Lucien Abrams developed their own brand of impressionist painting. This exhibition explores the unique themes and subjects Texas offered the painters of this new style of art.
Experience another side of French living Texas style with lunch at Currents Restaurant. Currents offers elegant and contemporary interpretations of French and American cuisines in a modern setting.
Fee: $100, includes transportation, lunch, all tour fees, and gratuities. Space is limited: Please call for reservations by February 22 to Mary Lynn Sloane at 817.989.5063 or membership@cartermuseum.org. This trip is for members only.
