Enjoy the unique opportunity to view and discuss over forty of the finest and best-preserved examples of Charles M. Russell’s work in watercolors. Looking at Russell’s actual studio materials and an analysis done by paper conservators, discover step-by-step how this self-taught artist created his watercolors and reasons why this medium flourished in the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century. Art, ELAR, and social studies teachers from both classroom and homeschool settings are encouraged to attend, although others may benefit.
