Focus on Photography

Learn how to use art to make cross-curricular connections at our professional development programs for educators. CPE credits, digital images, and classroom activities tied to state and national teaching standards are provided at each workshop. All workshops are free unless otherwise noted. Space is limited, and preregistration is required. Cancellations must be received forty-eight hours in advance of the program or a $25 fee will be charged; program materials will be mailed to absent teachers. Educator Workshop

Using photographs from the exhibition Masterworks of American Photography, learn how to look at and appreciate photographs, make cross-curricular connections with the photographs’ subjects, and get students excited about American history.
