Students can experience the lifestyle of a cowboy during this exciting program! Texas Parks and Wildlife park ranger and cowboy expert David Owens will tell stories and recite poetry related to photographs by Erwin E. Smith along with paintings and sculpture by Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell. These primary sources share the unique and rich story of the American cowboy during the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries. This program is made possible by a grant from the Erwin E. Smith Foundation.
