2007 Annual Report

The Carter is committed to acquiring the finest examples of American art, preserving them for future generations, and exhibiting them for the enjoyment of its broad audience. The museum is equally dedicated to researching the works in its collection and providing interpretive materials and programs to serve an educational role devoted to the study of American art.

The Annual Report is designed around the museum’s five core activities: Acquisition, Preservation, Exhibition, Research, and Interpretation.
